How to choose a suitable pair of tweezers?
The second biggest misery of a lash stylist (after the glue) is the FORCEPS. Which one should you buy? Which is the best? Which one fits better? And so on ...
In our new post series we will try to help you understand all the subtleties of the selection and introduce you to our new tweezers (described in detail)!
☝The first and the most important thing - the selection of the tweezers is VERY individual! A pair of tweezers that Lash Stylist X likes will not necessarily please you and will fit. (Especially when it comes to tweezers for the volume technique!)
☝Second: Note that there are softer and harder tweezers. You can also set the degree of hardness yourself! How hard the tweezers should be depends on your personal preference and the convenience of the job.
☝Thirdly: Get used to working with curved tweezers straight away for classic eyelash extensions (1: 1)! - This will make the later transition to the curved tweezers for volume technique easier.
☝Fourth: If your tweezers have fallen and the tips are bent, it is sometimes possible to save them. But it would be best to have spare tweezers for emergencies!
☝Fifth, there are a wide variety of tweezers for volume technique on the market.
Choose the one with whom YOU can work comfortably, with whom you can get GOOD fans and place them well on the natural eyelash!
THE CURVATURE AND THE APPEARANCE OF THE TWEEZERS ARE NOT ROLE IN THIS!
☝Sixth: The most important thing when choosing a volume tweezer is that the tweezers match the volume technique you are working with! For example, not every technique requires the tweezers to close completely at once.
☝Seventh: No matter whether completely at once, first the tip or first the middle - the tweezers should close precisely. Even if you are a super professional with many years of experience, the quality of the compartments will suffer if the tweezers do not close precisely and the desired amount of eyelashes does not fix properly (omits eyelashes)!
