THE CARE OF THE TWEEZERS

In order for your favorite tweezers to serve you for a long time, you have to handle them carefully and care for them properly.

If you adhere to the following three points, you will enjoy your tweezers for a long time!

1️⃣ STORAGE:

In no case should the tweezers be put down with the tips down adurch This will make the tweezers blunt!

It is best to keep the tweezers in a special case to minimize the risk of falling.

2️⃣CLEANING AND DISINFECTION:

The tweezers must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each customer.

❓ How is that done?

Every country has its own rules and regulations. In Berlin / Germany a representative of the health department visited us in our studio and gave the following recommendations:

☝ At the end of the treatment, the tweezers (with the liquid remover) should be cleaned of possible adhesive residues

☝ Then they must be disinfected with a disinfectant spray

☝ At the end of the working day, all instruments should be placed in a disinfectant bath (for the recommended time) and then rinsed with fresh water and dried with a paper towel or napkin. A sterilizer can also be used instead of a disinfectant bath.

☝ IMPORTANT! If the tweezers come into contact with blood during the treatment or if it has been found that the customer has an eye disease, the tweezers should be sterilized immediately❗️

3️⃣THE SHARPENING:

Just don't try to sharpen your tweezers yourself! - You will most likely break the tool and just waste your time!

Rather trust a grinding specialist as this task requires skill and exceptional accuracy. Or just buy new tweezers.
